For those of you following along with the Quietly Through 2-Year Bible reading plan, I thought I’d share some resources to go along with the books we’ll be starting this month. In the Old Testament we will start and complete Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon. We’ll also begin the Book of Isaiah. In the New Testament we’ll get started in the Book of Acts.
Each of these links will take you to a short video or a podcast, giving you an overview or a more in depth commentary.
Ecclesiastes
- Read Scripture Ecclesiastes
- Wisdom Literature: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job (The Bible Project)
- The Book of Ecclesiastes
Song of Solomon
- Read Scripture: Song of Songs
- Through the Bible Studio Series Podcast by Nate Holdridge
Isaiah
Acts
- Read Scripture: Acts Ch. 1-12
- What do I need to know about Acts? Podcast by Chris & Katie Orr

Those are some great books coming up, Kelli. Isaiah is one of my faves. And, Ecclesiastes as well. I’ve never seen those Bible Project videos before. Great resources, thank you for sharing. Will you be sharing here what you’re learning in the books this month? If so, I look forward to reading the insights the Lord shares with you. ((hug))
Yes, I will be sharing in the #QuietlyThroughThursday post. Hoping others will, too. 🙂
So glad we connected, Brenda. #ChasingCommunity has been so wonderful to be a part of.
Kelli, I’m not familiar with those resources either, but I’m looking forward to checking them out. What a blessing that you’re encouraging your readers to read through the Bible. My daily posts are based on a one-year reading plan. Thanks for hosting. Have a great week-end!
The Bible Project videos are great! I watch one nearly overtime I start a new book of the Bible.
I haven’t heard of this plan before but I’m glad to see so many resources! Thanks for putting this together.
