If you’ve been reading Quietly Through your Bible then you know our little community began the Gospel according to Mark today. Here are a few resources to help you read the Book of Mark.
(Not sure what Quietly Through is? Check it out here.)
- Caught by Jesus is a 6-week Bible study in the Gospel of Mark. Six weeks is much longer than the time the Quietly Through reading plan takes to get through Mark. However, you could simply read the Bible study commentary that goes along with the Quietly Through passages and skip the journaling. Or you could linger in the Gospel of Mark for six weeks and then pick the Quietly Through reading plan back up when you are done.
- The FOCUSed15 Podcast is a short 15 minute podcast by Chris and Katie Orr. In the episode I have linked to here has what you need to know before you read Mark. It’s a good, quick, and to the point.
- Read Scripture: Mark is a short video put together by The Bible Project. This is a visually stunning resource that quickly takes you through the book, hits the high points, and summarizes the context.
If you haven’t done so, you might want to download these Quietly Through freebies:
